  1. One paper rejected by BlackboxNLP 2026.

  2. We wrapped up the first ChildSafeAds Shared Task, with a total of 57 participants and 223 submissions working on commercial content and advertising-law compliance in child-facing YouTube videos. The task will be presented at NLLP @ EMNLP 2026! Check out the task description paper here.

  3. We presented our paper Traceable by Design: An LLM Pipeline and Dashboard for EU Regulatory Consultation Analysis at RELAF 2026! We also released the accompanying dashboard, code, and data. Thanks to Haoyang for presenting!

  4. Our paper The Great Data Standoff: Researchers vs. Platforms Under the Digital Services Act was published at ICWSM 2026 and received a Best Paper Honorable Mention!

  5. Our paper Towards High-Fidelity Synthetic Multi-Platform Social Media Datasets via Large Language Models has been accepted in ACM Transactions on the Web!

  6. I finished a three-month research visit at [AI4SG(https://www.ai4sg.org/)], National University of Singapore, where I worked on social media platforms as search engines.

  7. Our paper Towards Fairness Assessment of Dutch Hate Speech Detection has been accepted at WOAH, which will take place at ACL!

  8. Our paper TikTok Search Recommendations: Governance and Research Challenges has been accepted at COMPASS 2025, which will take place at ICWSM!

  9. Our paper Influencer self-disclosure practices on Instagram: A multi-country longitudinal study is out in Online Social Networks & Media!
